MS PIPES

MS Pipe and MS Tube refers to Mild Steel Pipe or a Mild Steel Tubes

Mild Steel (MS) pipes are manufactured using low carbon (less than 0.25%) steel. Due to low carbon content the pipes do not harden and are easy to use. As MS Pipes are made from mild steel they can easily be welded and formed in various shapes and sizes for pipelining and tubing purposes. These are generally used for drinking water supply i.e. Plumbing, Firefighting, HVAC but can also be used in various other Industrial and Engineering applications. These pipes are usually coated with other metals/paints/varnish etc to prevent it from rusting but extra care should be taken to prevent it under extreme conditions.

GALVANIZED PIPES

Galvanised Iron (GI) Pipes are manufactured using mild steel strips of Low Carbon Steel Coils. The strips are passed through a series of fin rolls to give them a circular shape. The slit ends of the strips are then welded together by continuously passing high frequency electric current across the edges. The welded steel pipes are then passed through sizing sections where any dimensional deviations are corrected. The pipes are then cut into desired lengths by automatic cutting machines. The tubes are then pressure tested for any leaks randomly. The galvanization and varnishing of pipes are done as per specific requirements.

The GI Pipes are generally used for distribution of treated or raw water in rural or urban areas. These pipes are cheaper, light weight and easy to handle.

BOILER TUBES

All power devices operate at high efficiencies required quality steel tubes, to guarantee their safe and long term operation. These Tubes are called as Boiler Tubes

Boiler Tubes are specially manufactured to withstand high pressure and temperature. Boiler tubes are used in energy type equipments like steam pipeline, boilers, super heaters etc.

API LINE PIPES

Line Pipe is steel pipe used for the transmission of Oil, Gas and Petroleum Distillates. Line Pipes are manufactured as per specifications established by American Petroleum Institute (API). API 5L is a specification of API which defines the standard for the dimension, physical, mechanical and chemical properties of the steel. Several pipe mills around the globe manufacture the API 5L pipes for Oil and Gas industry.

OCTG PIPES

Oil Country Tubular Goods short form (OCTG) consist of Casing Tubing and Line pipe for Oil and gas transportation and handling at various level. OCTG used in Oil and Gas production requires high strength and corrosion resistance against the carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide contained in well

ERW OTCG pipes are passed through numerous tests that include the hydro test, straightness check, welding test and evaluation so as to insure that no quality compromise has been made when it comes to pipe working and continuous work.

CASING TUBING

All the oil and gas lines (including the underground injecting material of any formation) need to be cased with material of high strength. Casing and tubing are the important aspects of any well construction.

Casing and tubing are key portions of OCTG. Casings are those pipes supporting the wall of oil and gas well. It is mainly divided in 3 major categories- the surface, protection and production casing. Tubing is a distinct pipe, installed in production casing after well cementing to allow the oil and gases flow to the ground.
