Types of Fittings

We are distributors for the below types of fittings.

Elbow fittings: These are used to change the direction of the pipe, typically at a 90-degree or 45-degree angle. They are commonly used to connect two pipes at a certain angle to navigate around obstacles or to properly route the pipe system.

Coupling fittings: These are used to connect two pipes of the same diameter together. They come in various materials such as steel, copper, PVC, and more, and are widely used in plumbing and piping systems.

Tee fittings: These fittings are in the shape of a “T” and are used to create branches in a pipe system. They allow the flow of fluid to be redirected in two directions at a 90-degree angle from the main pipe.

Cross fittings: Similar to tee fittings, but with an additional outlet that allows for the connection of four pipes at a time. They are used in fire sprinkler systems and other industrial applications.

Union fittings: These fittings are used to easily disconnect and service a pipe system. They consist of three parts – a nut, a female end, and a male end – that can be easily assembled and disassembled for maintenance purposes.

Threaded fittings: These fittings have threaded ends to allow for easy attachment to other pipes or fittings.

Socket weld fittings: These fittings are used for small pipe diameters and require an internal weld to connect the pipes together.

Flanged fittings: These fittings have a flat surface that is bolted onto another flat surface, typically used in high-pressure systems.
